Srsly guys. Give us a Tox Ogryn.
Agreed we sure have a chance to see Tox Ogryn be unleashed upon 2026 sometime
I have a feeling Fatshark is seriously cooking in 2026, because they sure kicked up the cooking in late 2024, which led to how 2025 has hit peak, and 2026 is going to keep climbing to next peak
that video is 2 years old ![]()
Bosses and elites that add to the gameplay are on my list for 2026. Obviously weapon families that are new and not Mk6/13w/11j of existing somethings too. But I’d like to see some standout enemies to engage the cheese rather than help it ferment, if that makes sense. Things like plasma gunner (before he was immediately castrated he was punishing rushers).
Btw there is still no audio when you mark a plasmer..
Only 40? They are on a much higher dose of copium (and so is anyone who liked the comment) lol.
Nice to see New Enemies
HOWEVER
we definetly dont need another AoE Type Enemy. Poison Gas is already atrocious, combined with Blight on the Ground etc.
If they do it, Ogryn Spitter and Pox Gas thrower should not spawn together iMO!
Not every Class has a “Chem Breather” like the Arbites does to mitigate at least some of it. This will be a grief Fest for sure, i can already tell…
Ogryn looks amazing to be sure
Lmao dude with ED
I imagine part of the reason why its not in the game is because it would essentially just be a plague ogryn mixed with a beast of nurgle and take away from the uniqueness of both. Fatshark is clearly trying pretty hard to keep especially specialists and bosses very unique and distinct, probably to avoid a situation similar to Back 4 Blood where they have like 16 special enemies but they all fall into just 4 archetypes making them all feel very generic and interchangeable, ultimately making the game feel worse then if they only had 4 better designed special enemies.
Too late. We already have Scab and Tox flamers and Scab and Tox Bombers. The flamers are ok as they are limited area denial and they have to get relatively close and into line of sight to attack, but adding an additional area-denial and line-of-sight denial unit that can attack from outside of their own line is sight isn’t a great addition. Especially since it interfere’s with one class’s enemy highlight talent, but not anyone else’s. At least they fixed the bounce bug.
Scab and tox flamers are really the only interchangeable ones. But I think thats fine as we do have two sub factions and I imagine they mostly exist for the sake of scab/dreg only missions.
Scab/tox bombers are very distinct though.
They’re not distinct enough. They also have the same attack behaviour and attack sound cue.
A large gas cloud that deals gradual damage acting as large area denial and also vision blocking. VS a small flame grenade that deals high damage but doesnt last long. They are pretty different if you ask me but like its just opinions anyways.
Just imagine if they added 2 more bombers that did very mildly different things. I think they are just trying to avoid including too many different things that are too similar.
I just feel like the bomber can be problematic enough due to their out of line-of-sight attack behaviour and Fatshark pretty much doubled down by making another special that attacks the same way and performs the same role. Another way to look at the tox bomber is that it’s just a recycled poison gas globadier. That’s another reason why its treated a bit more contemptuously.
Sorta fair. Typically when you get a tox gas grenade on you, you just fall back and then the tox granadier moves forward into a more open area. There are only a few places where they can attack without LOS.
Though that being said, the radius of the grenades could use a nerf and it would be nice if they didnt spread through walls but CS2 smoke physics might be too much to ask for here lol.
What you are saying is an absolute, total nonsense. All the enemies that run on the ground and hit you melee are alike. Plague Ogryn? Mutant + Mauler. Flashbag? Jumping Plague Ogryn. The only enemy that is kinda COMPLETELY different from all the others is Daemonhost. Yet they all are different - because details is what makes the difference. Thus, slowly, loudly walking tox ogryn, that can pollute a giant area in front of him, is gonna be an amazing, original and interesting enemy. We need him.
Arbites and Hive Scum were both solid classes, albeit the bug issues.

This attack followed by a burst of Tox Flames would be lit! Also an AOE attack that lights the ground on fire around him. Players would need to split up and attack him from behind, destroy his canister for big chunk damage and force him into melee.
