You’re missing my point, it’s not about whether it’s too hard for me or not, it’s about it being a non-standard game mode that’s out of sync with the way the rest of the game is balanced and designed, and that 99% of the playerbase isn’t touching.
Balancing around Havoc would result in a negative outsized effect on the rest of the game because Havoc doesn’t and isn’t intended to play/scale in the same way, and using that game mode as the locus to balance around simply to service a tiny number of players would be nonsensical.
I think that even if the movement speed was mildly nerfed along with the Finesse multiplier, the DS would still be a viable weapon that feels good. I mean, even if it took 2-3 charged headshots to kill a Crusher, that would still be very strong and feel good. I don’t think it even needs a buff in exchange.
I agree that’s a problem, especially with how the game spams carapace nowadays.
Agree with all this, though idk if it’s necessarily tied to consoles. Console VT had its own balancing but dodges worked pretty much the same way as in the PC version afaik
