Please I need help, I buy a Vermintide 2 but I get this error:

Fatal error!
Corrupt game data in block: 0, size; 0
Error: -5.
Make sure that your game files are not corrupt by in steam

I’m assuming you’ve already verified your installation via Steam?

Unfortunately it’s very hard to determine what could be causing persistent data corruption errors as it’s a particularly mysterious problem which we’re still in the process of learning about.

In most cases, it’s a result of mismatched RAM speeds. That being said, I’ve recently spoken to a player who learnt their issue was a result of an unstable RAM overclock, so that’s something worth considering, and another player with MSI Afterburner had to re-scan their overclocks.
