DS and Plasma Nerfs Leaked?

I don’t think they are entirely mute.

A first draft shows what they are looking into changing and we can have a discussion on whether those are the right things to change and by what degree.

Otherwise we’d be speculating in the dark but could discuss the same things. We just wouldn’t have a starting point.

Sidenote; I’m pretty sure you can kill more than one crusher with the PG in a single shot. Someone correct me if I’m wrong, please.

I don’t agree with that, it felt miserable and took away one of the only unique interactions the PG had.

No, it was Fatshark. They literally said it themselves.

But well, now that you’re cleary crashing out I don’t think there is anything to be discuss anymore.

the entire problem people have is that they actually do

yes cause the game shouldn’t be balanced around havoc, period

if you can’t play havoc without plasma gun, DS or infernus then you shouldn’t be playing it. git gud lmao

It was definitely tougher to deal with than crusher. But then it encouraged tactic change. i.e. hitting at angle from the side behind shield via flank, arms and legs or wait for it’s swing where it lifts it’s shield upwards and back pedal then plasma shot as upclose shotgun stagger.

They should reward more in headshots against crushers. I think it is same damage head and body. Encourages more precision and more reward from it.

These party guys can say whatever they want. the fact if that they are just trying to satisfy their egos, while being unable to actually compete with other players in other games.

Refrain yourself from going to grocery store. Y’know, it’s lazyness. Go hunt for food in the forest with bare hands. Maybe then you will realize how foolish and edge you’re, momma’s tryhard.

Why do you think it is?

Indeed.

at least this way i wont show on “my 600lbs life” :man_shrugging:

guess some people grew content staying the underachiever.

No, it is all about M1 currently - and that’s the biggest issue.

And nerfing the M1 without dramatically buffing the M2 won’t suddenly make the M2 more used, it will just remove the gun from the game entirely like it was before they added the cleave. M2 deals 2x the damage of M1 for 3x the ammo, a long charge time, half of your heat and the risk of exploding so in the best case scenario you will be able to shoot only twice for the damage equivalent of 4 normal shots before you reach heat limit while having a much worse ammo economy on a gun that is already an ammo sink and wasting a lot of precious seconds charging the shot.

You know what the plasma gun nerf is ? It’s a return to release plasma gun and release plasma gun was so bad it was only used as a meme gun to do the exploding psyker penance without having to play psyker and mind you at the time you didn’t have to deal with waves of 30 crushers supported by a billion gunner every other room

It looks OP… And damn… It looks like upgraded veteran. Hah. No wonder why they are trying to kill vet xD

That’s Fatshark poiting out that M1 was overwhelmingly used, how does it any way deals with you pretending that M1 wasn’t used to make a point?

Yes the weapon identity for players was about spamming M1 and you even have the Fatshark telling you.

Fix yourself and get lost

There wasn’t really a changeup in strategy.

You either needed to wait for them to get knocked over by a teammate (or use a grenade) or kill them in melee, if they were aggoed onto you.

It really wasn’t interesting.

More importantly, it didn’t make any sense that their shield would actually protect them if you could shoot though walls 10X the size.

If there was any logical reason for why their shield could protect them, at least have their guard break from having to block the PG. That would be one way to have that work mechanically even if not logically. But it didn’t work that way, they could block you forever.

I can play Havoc40 with random weapons, but carry you? That’s a whole different story :face_savoring_food:

It’s not ‘underachiever’. and about you trying to create fake achievments somewhere where is nothing to achieve, and mock people who took the smart way you dislike.

It wasn’t a rhetorical question I genuinely don’t understand how trying hard is a bad thing.

trying hard - nah, thats a good thing (usually)

holding it as a standard for others - by the very nature lmao

It’s not. Bad thing is that at some point tryhards begin to take things way more seriously then they should. In the non-competitive PvE game.

I do understand people measuring others and proud of themselfs in Starcraft or CS. And i can clearly understand how and why. I understand why i will or won’t be able to be like them.

But there’s a game about deleteing horde from the game, where the only skill you’ll EVER need is dodging. And people are trying to turn in into something that it never were or supposed to be, trying to make a pose in the place definetly not proper for this.

It’s not.

It’s a way for others to feel better about their own shortcommings.

The other way to use “tryhard” is to say that someone is taking a game too seriously. That can be fair enough of a critique, one can take anything too seriously. I just find it kinda hypocritical. What kinda sense does it make to call out someone caring too much if you apparently dont? At that point, you care too much about the other guy caring too much.
