Does Sire Melk seem more depressed?

His general demeanour after the update seems to have taken a nosedive. Is he alright?

He bascially works in retail. Serving people who think the emperor is their best friend, a complete maniac who screams “blood for the Emperor, skulls for the golden throne” and a guy with an IQ of a marble.

All while people complain his items are not up to their standards.
I would be depressed too.

Clearly he saw what happened with the Veteran nerfing, the EXORBITANT amount of Aquilas dropped onto Xbox players while spurning the PC players, another fahcking-goddamned-by-the-jesus nerf to the power sword, and the premium stores price increase which “just so happened” to coincide with the release of the much-desired Krieger uniform… all within the space of a single week.

Can’t say I blame the man for being depressed.

He’s sad because we never accept the tasks he gives us and instead bribe him while calling his ideas stupid.

Not sure if this has happened before.
At least i do not remember seeing it.

Apparently, Melk has become so depressed, that he now sells items with T1 blessings to my veteran (who is also quite depressed btw).

Consider it from his point of view: he has to put up with Alice Hallowette’s constant nagging.

Being stuck in there all day…

He is begging for more lively atmosphere.

A bar with few tables and chairs to interact, spend some dockets to buy some beers to randoms

Few little mini games to compete alongside your colleagues, maybe some basic board games like checkers or card games.

Dare I suggest open VoIP…

There is already Open Chat. Can make a bit of a small social hub as a break and really interact with other players in a non mission environment.

its foreshadowing him getting servitor’d next

You also would be, if you had to actually work in the Darktide itemisation casino.
