Played to level 25 for pants. Might try to go further, but mostly play lower ones just to grind out the amount for penances.
Not really only when friends want to. So Iām pretty rusty at the mode. Stopped once I got all the penances. I would if I could quick play into it/play unranked. Used to use the discord for it.
Same here, the modifiers just get annoying at a certain point for me.
Nope. I tried it a few times with some cool and chill players, but being thrown into a Havoc 35-40 match as my first introduction was like being tossed into the prison showers with Sticky Sam and Greasy Gus for a first date.
The stacking modifiers are one thing but I was especially turned off by how Havoc cuts your health/toughness/ammo pickups by as much as it does. I honestly donāt care how possible it is for some people, if Havoc has to pull crap like that in order to be difficult then itās simply not worth my time.

I think it is a misstep in how to progress difficulty.
but also being quite old now the matchmaker is enough for me.
I usially play 30-40, but 40s have become really stressful with randoms as of lately, so I just join whatever there is on the board.
None of my friends like Havoc tho
Dukane crashes me so I lost absolutely nothing. My ladder spot I guess? I will miss funneling enemies and running and funneling on 5 mapsā¦truly I lost the peak of what Darktide has to offer.

I got āTrue Survivorā in season one and played to rank 40 in two more seasons, then Havoc fell off for me because itās too exhausting (takes too long), and I like to be able to solo clutch in Auric Maelstroms instead of tryharding for 45-60 minutes.
same, while i clear havoc 40 each season as a renewal of my mandatory eartag, i prefer solo freedom in maelstrom to cuddle style slow pace every day of the week.
Actually I play once per week, lowest level possible.
Only to take some diamantine next Monday.

Iām envious.
I wish I got āTrue Survivorā in Season 1, when it was still doable with randoms.
Now itās pretty much my last Penance, sitting there, mocking me.
Itās one of the reason I really donāt like to play Havoc.
Not after getting the cosemetics no. Which I never wear so that was a wasted effort really.
Just cheat it if you really want it, most randoms who already have it donāt deserve it anyway because they die in the first area of H40 lobbies and just play awful in general, despite running the most busted selfish DPS builds.
Iām sick of those clowns who have True Survivor but canāt ledge a boss as Zealot on H40, or who play as Shriek Psyker and instantly die in the first area as soon as I donāt press taunt for 30 seconds as Ogryn. Or as soon as I switch from Vet or Desperado Hive Scum to play something else, nobody on the team has anything against Gunners and I have to clear most of gunners with Bolt Pistol as Zealot or melee Hive Scum. 
You can dodge slide through the wall at the beginning of Mercantile which makes enemies disappear from the map, look for more thorough explanations elsewhere so I donāt get accused of anything. This will let you finish the map without dying, just use Zealot or something for extra safety (due to Until Death) since you will have to survive the final event which is gonna have enemies.
Thx. I will consider this, because I can do a H40 without going down, but I got no control over the other 3 guys, which is why consider this penance most unfair.
Iām all 100% a teamplayer, BUT why must I suffer, because FS decided to make an outlandish Penance that requires Pre-mades or pure F-ing chance that the randoms donāt kill themselves in the last 5 secondsā¦
Iāve recently played with some streamer whoās complained when I switched my build to Gun Lugger Ogryn. Mind you, right before that game Iāve slaved away in the same lobby as Taunt Shield Ogryn for that team to achieve victory, so I wanted to unwind and try Twin Linked Gun Lugger which I never really played in Havoc since they rebuffed it.
So what happened? The other three instantly died in the second area of Prison map, where you drop down in the tunnel before the āoil rigā part. I just rolled my eyes at how people canāt let me play something unique for a change, and they need to hit taunted enemies in the back all the time where they never get targetted by enemies for more than 50% of the map.
I left that lobby and finally got a good run with the next team, felt like auric.
This is the reason why quickplay Havoc will never work, it will be a one-sided massacre by the enemies with the majority of this playerbase.
