Left 4 Dead let you take a break outside VS mode, but theyâd have to make the bots not immediately die for it to work here. They suck in L4D too but at least they aimbot a few specials before going down.
all of this is why Iâd love to see more bits of (dynamic) downtime in levels. not just traveling in an elevator where we canât see anything, but move us around with a view so we can take it all in, take a breather after a big fight, see more of AtomaâŠetc etc

Quit before Chaos Wastes came out, but it does sound like most everyone loves that game mode so Iâll have to give it a shot once I get back up to champion/legend speed. Love the idea of voted on breaks too.

Yeah, I kind of wish the Medicae Terminals were located in secure areas where you can catch a break. I was also toying with the idea of the next class having the ability to temporarily lock doors like R2D2 to slow enemies down, lol.

You know, that actually used to exist in DT when it first released. But since patch 13, that gave us talent trees, we became crazy powerful. The devs had to crank up the numbers and make the AI director spam enemies like the elites and specialists to give us a challenge.
I very much hope that the CM is taking the feedback about reducing enemy spam, freeing the modifiers and weapon balance changes so that we can get it all in the next update.

That existed all the way back in Vermintide and I very much agree. It could be a great chance to use some of Jesper Kyds tracks that we do not hear in full, like âEntering Thronesideâ. We never, ever hear those organs, and it really feels like they could use it in a moment where we take in the view.
Factsss. Especially on the higher difficulties, with the never ending Specialist waves and their assorted sound cues, we donât get enough time to listen to Jesper Kydâs masterpieces. This segment of âEntering Thronesideâ in particular should the very first track played at Enclavum Baross as the players near the intial dropdown for example⊠mission dialog could come after the dropdown.

Missing a delivery driver can be a huge hassle though. I literally donât play havoc in the daytime for this reason, despite really wanting to. The time commitment is insane.
Perhaps the suggestion of more airlocks could be good in general too.
So players could remain in there until player is ready.
Honestly this feedback of mine is really only relevant to Havoc as the normal board has quickplay to replace you if you drop out. Also 3 players donât lose a âstrikeâ if I run to answer my door or run to my crying kid etc.
Trouble is Havoc is where the sweaty difficulty is. Locked behind a BS Tencent gate.
