I’m having trouble tagging enemies. I’m playing WHC, and I’ll just be mashing the tag button at a CW like an idiot and nothing happens. I can spam the chat on accident, but I can tag enemies half the time.

In the settings you can define the chat wheel and tagging as separate keys.
It certainly helps against the accidental chat spam and helped me and others with the issue you describe.

This helped me as well, I think if you have them on the same key and hold the key just a little too long it doesn’t tag or bring up the chat wheel.
I put “tag” on mouse wheel down, I just spin it when the item/monster is near the crosshair…
