I have another question regarding cosmetics @Fatshark_Hedge.
When you get all possible hats from Commendation Chests, the next hat drop from those chests will be a duplicate of a hat you already have. Are there any plans regarding this?
What I’d like is to see is some way to turn in those duplicates for Shillings.
I thought you got drops for other characters if you get a full set?
Yes, if you get all the Commendation Chest hats for 1 character, you start getting hats for other characters if you still open the Commendation Chests on that character. But if you get all the Commendation Chest hats on all 5 characters, you get a duplicates in the following hat drops.
IF anyone has actually got all hats for all characters and is getting dupes now, then the RNG is strong with this one.

I think haiken has them all, and i think i’ve seen someone else before asking about this aswell.
I think there are several ppl until today. I am at the ~2.5k h mark in the game and have all the Commendation Chests Skins too since some weeks and there are a lot of players with more hours in the game that should have all the skins too (or maybe they just sit on their chests since it’s a pita to open them all ^^ ) Anyways, I stopped opening chests since then because I heard of the dupes and don’t rly wanna open chests for no reason. I really hope there will be another use for those chests, esp. since FS decided to make em the main reward for almost EVERY new challenge in Okris Book, rly deserves a

The thing is: If you have all commendation chest cosmetics of one character, you’ll start to get duplicates and it’s complete RNG which cosmetics you get after this. There is no priority or even guarantee that you’ll get hats that you still might be missing on other characters.
For example, the only commendation chest cosmetic I am missing is the Beanie for RV. If I open commendation chests with any of the other four characters - for which I already have all hats - I can still get any non-dwarf cosmetic. So, I have to open chests with the dwarf in order to force it.
That’s okay, I guess but still annoying and confusing. Fact is, I have 13 duplicate hats (just counted) and would like to get rid of them in a productive way. Which means, I don’t want to gift them to @Froh, obviously.
Give them to me. That’s productive. Because a happy froh is kinda what it should be in your own language.
What if you stream your game for Froh and salvage all the hats. Froh in his turn could stream his reaction. Quality content and very productive.

Wait, are you sure about that? I have all Bardin’s commendation chest hats, and when I open commendation chests with him, I get hats for random other characters I didn’t have yet. That implies you’d get hats for Bardin you don’t have if you collected all other hats, right?
Unless, if the system is set up to pick a random other character to give hats for if you open it on one you have all hats with, without taking in account if that other character also has all hats… Resulting in doubles…
No, he means if you have all commendation hats on all characters, you just get duplicates from then on.

The moment you have all hats with one character, you should stop completely opening commendation chests with this character in order to avoid duplicates.

This is probably a bug that should be reported, because the system is not what was described once by some dev (can’t remember where). It should give you the hat for another character.
