Corrupted blessings / corrupted weapons.
Aqusition: Special mission conditions only. Extract contraband case from the mission.
Alternative Aquisition: Flight Lieutenant Gillia Masozi contraband store with weekly pool.
Blessing transit not avaible during operations from Hadron.
Blessing concept: Gaining corruption over characters health during the mission, blessings boosting certain stats / provide effects.
Weapon concept: corruption already set upon player while certain weapon equiped, depending on weapon stats. Corrupting character health further during killing process / boosting efficiency.
Restrictions: Zealot preacher.
Resistance: perks from curios.
Sounds great! But don’t let inquisitor catch you with that…
Don’t let Hadron catch you using those or straight into the blessed furnace. First the weapon, then you.
This one seems obsessed by Khorne deamon? Got to feed it with blood. Pretty sure some passive bleeding mechanic shall be logicaly applied on it. Bloodletter Blessing with passive effect on any attack or something.
Yeah, with core idea: higher risk - higher reward.
As side effect: keep those things away from your COs.
One can only dream about staff like that. But chances to see such item in-game can be high enough, compare to locks/RNG troubles.
I was actually looking for Nurgle demonic weapons, unfortunately there was only one picture of daemonic chainsword that looked “nice”… rune looks Khorne’ish, so you could be right.
That’s what I was looking for:
“The An’garrach is a Traitor Legion Chainsword, that has one or more Nurglings imprisoned within it. The Daemon Weapon is more enthusiastic than most of its kind and exists to spread the illness that pours from it. However the An’garrach revs its motor and drools pus-filled oil with annoying regularity; perhaps explaining why the weapon has changed owners more times, than anyone cares to recollect.”
Nurgle weapons wouldn’t be all that effective against nurglites though. It might be an interesting concept to explore if you could gain blessings of Tzeentch though.
1.) Tzeentch hates Nurgle, so that checks out.
2.) Tzeentch loves to change things, that could explain the strong bonus/Malus his blessing provides.
3.) He’s tricky enough to disguise his blessings so no one gets too suspicious.
If we as acolytes of the inquisition were to run around the Morningstar with a pus oozing jagged blade, we’d be French revolutioned faster than you can say exterminatus.
I was thinking more of a weapon that is picked at the beginning of the mission and It’s pried from your hands by skilled “Top Men” on board of the Mourningstar.
Like Grimmoire - You can’t keep it.
