I appreciate it.
I will endeavor to be better. Honestly, the guy just caught me on a bad day.

Welcome to the club.
Well you do appear to be the expert.
Welcome #439
I suppose it is more like RIP again. Seeing as he had quit and come back. How do you count that? Do you count that?
They made the effort to log back in to the forum and give their feedback on why theyâre leaving again, so I think itâs fair theyâre added in too.
There were indeed many suggestions offered over many months regarding how to fix the core design so that it is not so frustrating and time wasting. Every time a change has been implemented, it has always been a half measure that does not resolve the core design being a lotto. If there was a will to resolve the issue, meaningful changes that deal with this wouldâve already been implemented. But every time this did not occur. OP, youâre better off playing other games rather than hoping or expecting this to change.
If only they gave a single shark about our suggestions and criticismâŚ
The definition of madness is to try to persuade Fatshark to do anything meaningful about crafting.
Crafting memorial is biggest thread on this forums ![]()
The Swedes think RNG improves game longevity, hence the player retention. ![]()
Fatshark LIED. They promised less RNG in Darktide than in VT2. We got MORE RNG, and the LOCK system which literally bricks promising gear PERMAMENTLY. This stuff wasnât even in VT2, which already wasted your time with rerolls of red items to get stat combos you wanted.
The crafting system design is malicious and wastes your time. No wonder people who try to build something new give up on it and in some case leave despite enjoying the core gameplay.
Not Swedes in general, just Fatshark fueled by Tencent money does.
Iâm swede and I absolutely despise the RNG in the crafting. V2 had such a better crafting system but Fatshark decided to take nothing that they learned from V2 into Darktide.
Congratulations, also great job of making this thread about yourself as well.
Nobody is crying, check your attitude. And I say we both post in related threads and create new threads about crafting daily for as long as it takes Plump Panga to fix the colossal mess that is crafting system of Darktide.
That is an insider joke, I suspect grammar wise it should say âThe Swedesâ and is basically a code word for the Fatshark team. We have no idea if Tecent had any influence here, I doubt they would express interest outside the monetisation model. Also as you know RNG heavy itemisation have been present in the past Fatshark games.
I simply wish for itemisation which supports variety of âbalancedâ builds, not grind which translates into wasting our time. Who enjoys buying 1000s of items in order to get perk and blessing combos they actually want to give a try. Nevermind the item base score, which in the case of the Bruntâs shop has RNG odds CLEARLY stacked against the player, and favours creation of items with low base score.
Naw I meant like, is that 1 or 2? Obviously it counts.
My guy we have already had this conversation. Check yourself.
Oh for sure, blatantly so. I use the mod that buys and auto-discards whatever range you set it to for however many purchases you want (I set it to 355-380). I set it to roll up to 30 times (all of my dockets at the time) and it gave we 2 results that fell within that range (357 and 365). That is entirely unacceptable.
vermintide had people demanding more RNG to play with right until around when darktide dropped. the fans got what they demanded, crying it wasnât how they thought itâd be wonât help now.
It wasnât asking for more RNG, it was âstill engaging with the itemisation after 1000 hoursâ.
They however forgot that asking for that still means not getting something for 1000 hours, RNG or not.
So Vermintiders ruined the cake for non-Vermintiders again? If so itâs a pitty that DT is part of a âseriesââŚ
I am asking for a source on that one boss.
Vermintiders wanted Athanor weapon modification from Winds of Magic to be implemented on the whole. It would let you choose your blessings and traits, complete opposite of RNG.
Some people like eating toilet paper, also this is the first time I heard the âwe want more RNGâ claim. What I know is that Fatshark responded to our group feedback about dislike of the RNG in Vermitide 2 crafting and claimed that Darktide will have LESS RNG. We got exactly the opposite.
