Darktide needs an ingame encylopedia

So many things are just left up to hoping a thing is good without knowing what it does. Following is a list of stuff i found on my guard, i got lazy after a bit so it isn’t too long. But basically there are a lot of things not ever really explained, or only explained once.

What does Rending do? What do the new stimms do, specifically? What is the difference between a Specialist and an Elite? What does Brittleness do? What is Power? How much damage is a stack of Burn? What is the range of a close vs far kill, because if that’s coherency range, then does Charismatic effect it? How much stamina am i using on a block, so i can figure out how good this block efficiency is?

I on the other hand would love ingame LORE encyclopedia.
But yeah, good idea overall.

it needs something like the Bestiary and Armory mods that are in VT2

fatshark’s well known for their opaque combat systems, so i don’t think they’re going to do that. i’d like a compenium of the cutscenes though, including the pre-update ones now that i think of it…

Some kind of Witcher 3-esque menu would be nice, with a “bestiary” of enemies, journals full of lore, all that good stuff!

please add a briefing where every type of enemy is explained at least

Yeah an explination of stats. Also direction on how to use all the specials of each weapon, especially in the psycharium could be part of character training.
