Finally. All the Havoc issues aside, well-karking-deserved.

The best quality of Fatshark as a studio is that they never give up. Darktide really deserves the labor of love award imo.

until 2 weeks ago iā€™d be among the first to hit that button.

but after censoring the game, 2 years in and being fine up until then, instead of just putting that rating on steam and be done with it, iā€™d say my ā€œloveā€ rather took a nosedive.

labor of love would be a big :fu: to the fsk and call it a day.

It probably will stay that way for the most part since the average player was just given a new map and new toys. Expectations were also managed more for the remaining players because people saw weaves 2.0 and already lowered the bar in their mind.

Canā€™t really be that mad/disappointed if you didnā€™t expect it to be that good to begin with.

Also hot take, I still think weaves were worse. At least here I get drip that isnā€™t relegated to only Havoc mode when I get the penances done. How many years did it take before weave skins were accessible in the main modes? Oof.

Absolutely deserved, with all the work thatā€™s gone into the game since launch. Addressing major pain points, adding content for players across the skill spectrum (talent trees, Havoc, penances, maps, weapons), and continuing to bring depth to the gameplay (exploding flamers, strafing gunners).

Itā€™s only up from here! Recent reviews are better than recent and all-time reviews for VT2!
