Darktide Crashing on Startup, reporting dlss error

Issue Description:

Hi, for the last few weeks I’ve been unable to play darktide due to it crashing on startup, shortly after the anti-cheat screen closes. In particular the logs are giving me an error that dlss is unavailable, I’ve attached a copy of the logs below.
I’ve tried every step in the advice you outlined on your recent blog posts, that I’ve linked to below:

This of course includes reinstalling gpu drivers from a clean installation, reinstalling the game, verifying game files.
I’ve tried running steam as administrator, running the game directly from the steam files to bypass the launcher, various permutations of settings in the launcher including disabling dlss, lowering the resolution, setting the worker count to 1 and more.

I’m using a widescreen monitor at 165hz, but changed my display settings to 1080p 60hz also.
I’ve also uninstalled the epic games launcher as some community members indicated might help.

Sadly I’m still getting the same error as when I started that DLSS is unavailable, any help would be appreciated

I would say hold on until the release patch, but the error below indicates more of a localised GPU issue, as opposed to the errors that we would traditionally see when we’ve messed something up on our end:

DXGI_ERROR_DRIVER_INTERNAL_ERROR

I recommend reaching out to NVIDIA and seeing if they can assist with this.

It’s Nvidia’s fault now lmao
