Hi, I’m sorry I’m really having trouble with this, I’ve recently got a vm so I can play on my MacBook so lots of the files don’t seem to be in the right places. I can’t find either options.

“Parallels Desktop has no access to the Mac’s device’s physical graphics cards. Instead, Parallels Display Adapter driver (which is part of the Parallels Tools installation) interfaces with virtual hardware and provides 3D acceleration features. The actual acceleration is achieved by translating Direct X commands from the guest OS to the OpenGL API on the macOS side.”

This would be part of the problem - a dedicated GPU, such as a NVIDIA or AMD one, will be necessary.

Thank you very much, im sorry to ask but im not too familiar with all of it, how much would this cost? I bought dark tide as a treat but now I can’t play it lol.

I think you might be limited on a MacBook. I used to play World of Warcraft on my MacBook Air, but it wasn’t the best experience, and that was many years back! Do you have access to a Windows PC in your household?

I get you thanks, sadly not I live in a uni house and only have my laptop. Ive been told that virtual machines could help but I’ve been away from pc gaming for years so this is all very overwhelming lol.

You could try a service such as GeForce Now, which appears to support macOS: NVIDIA GeForce NOW System Requirements
