Crash after Shader Cache is built

Issue Description:
After shade cache is built I get a crash. This happens 100% of the time. I have tried every which way and even tried clean installing windows and my gpu drivers to see if that would work. Please help the game has been unplayable for several months now.

This is some very odd GPU behaviour. Are you only experiencing issues in Darktide? Have you tried playing anything else recently?

Same here. Builds cache, icon spins for a second, crash over and over ever since update this morning 10/5. Played nonstop and just fine the last two days. Now I can’t even start the game. Every single other game I own and have installed works fine…

3070 ti, ryzen 7 3800x 8-Core.

Countless crash reports sent

verified game files, full uninstall and reinstall, reverted to old graphics drivers, reinstalled new ones with clean install, disabled startup apps, no overlays, etc… not much else i can do to show it isn’t my side.

Hello.
I am experiencing the same problem. It appeared after the release of patch 1.1. Before that, I calmly played for about 143 hours. In other games, I have no problems with either launches or crashes.

This is the only game this happens to. I can play every other game in my steam library with 0 issues.

Hate that its happening to yall, but at the sametime im glad its not just me. I’ve been going insane trying to fix it.

exact same thing is happening to me after playing for around 50 hours on the new update it finally happened.

fixed it (I commented on my thread as well)

open RUN by pressing windows key + R
type in %appdata%
navigate to fatshark and open the folder
delete darktide folder completely
launch game
it should pop up and tell you that you meet minimum requirements (see photo attached)
I expected the same crash as usual but it worked fine

I have the same problem. Running windows 10, rtx2060.
None of the usual fixes have worked. If it needs a patch could we have an estimate of when it will come out?

Similar rig but with a 3700x and 6700xt
No crashes but constant stutters ingame making it unplayable, whatever you all did this patch ruined performance for me.

Attempted the %appdata% deletion fix, and it helped smooth out gameplay temporarily, within 5-10 minutes it was stuttering again just as much as before.

i’m having this exact same issue, thought i found that my issue is linked to my monitors for some reason. I can launch the game on monitor 2 but not on monitor 1.
I need to play on monitor 1 due to how my setup is.

With the latest update, the game unexpectedly started without problems. And even the folder with shaders did not have to be deleted. Everything was compiled and the game started.
