After the recent update the game will not load after loading Shader Cache and crashes sending me to the bug report window.

Hi there, I had the exact same issue in the beta. Hoping this can get fixed soon.

Hey it’s me, I’ve got something exciting to share.

Update your graphics card drivers and then do the following.

  1. go to darktide on steam
  2. go into manage (this will look like a small grey cog)
  3. go to manage under the available tabs
  4. click browse files
  5. open file window on your computer
  6. go to the file named “launcher”
  7. find the laucher.exe application and right click
  8. go into properties
  9. go into compatability
  10. Make sure to disable compatability mode
  11. under settings on compatability, select the following
    -Run as Administrator
    -Disable Fullscreen Optimisations
  12. ensure they are enabled and apply changes
  13. finally, launch the game from the file location NOT from steam and you will be able to play!

It’s taken a while to get this working but hopefully it works for you too dude!
