Crashing in cosmetics or during gameplay

Issue Description (Required):

During gameplay no issues until I or someone else starts an investigation or interrogation.

RTX 2080S, driver is currently 576.80, before updating driver same issue persisted. Before this newest patch, rarely crashed if not at all, honestly happened so rarely that I don’t even remember.

If I’m checking cosmetics, crash is maybe every 25% of the time.
If I start an investigation - 100% crash, if someone else does - 50/50.
If I start an interrogation - 100% crash, if someone else does - around 25% crash.
If I search for investigation targets - 75% crash, if someone else does - 50/50
If I decode interrogation - 75% crash, if someone else does - no crash.

Reinstalled Darktide, disabled all mods, no help.

If I disable extended weapon customization, crashes at loading screen. But if I enable it, I can play, which is kinda funny.

This particular crash appears to be caused by the ‘For the Drip’ mod. If you could reproduce the crash without mods and share the report here, we’ll be able to look in to that independently. :slight_smile:

  • Updated DT,
  • Removed “For the Drip”,
  • A match with some investigations went without any issues,
  • Before the match checked cosmetics, no issues there either.

But after the match went to check the penances and a crash followed:

This is related to one of the mods for sure, if all of them are disabled, there is no crash.

This appears to be the ‘Weapon Customisation’ mod. :slight_smile:
