Crash on launch, probably related to EAC

Issue Description:

Crash on attempting to launch game from Steam. I have tried all of the recommendations on this page https://support.fatshark.se/hc/en-us/articles/7709665369501--PC-How-to-Resolve-Darktide-Launcher-Issues

but the crash persists,

Steps to Reproduce:
Crash on attemption to launch game from steam - hit “play” button in steam, hit play button in launcher, Easy Anti-Cheat screen pops up and then disappears shortly after getting to “waiting for game”, crash report dialog pops up.

I found elsewhere on the forums that Epic games launcher could be causing this problem, even though I am launching from steam. I uninstalled epic games launcher and this fixed the issue.
