Crash on after pressing play on launcher

Crash on startup. Cannot launch the game are pressing Play. Game worked when first released on Nov 2022.

Steps to Reproduce:

  1. Press play on steam
  2. Press play on launcher
  3. Crash instantly

It looks like you have a DRM on your PC, which is interfering with Darktide.

Is mine also a DRM issue? (also how does that even happen?)

Indeed, your crash is also due to the DRM on your PC. Iā€™m not sure what the interaction is exactly.

Are you playing Darktide from a PC used for work?

No so is this either a vpn thing (not using any as far as i know) or another program is interfering with the game launching?
Only other weird thing i can say is that windows is not activated and is windows 11
