I also verified the gamedata over steam after the first crash.

Sorry to hear this @Amrik

I can see you’re running into Access Violation type crashes, however the root cause of this isn’t clear.

I recommend running through our general crash solutions, here:

I’ve also noticed you have Ryzen CPU, and historically we’ve seen increased Access Violation crashes which a BIOS update can sometimes solve. Please check out:

I tried this one already, but it still crashes:

"If you find that the crashing persists, then I recommend ensuring you have appropriate Anti-Virus and Firewall exceptions in place. Please try adding following exceptions:

  • vermintide2.exe in \Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Warhammer Vermintide 2\binaries
  • vermintide2_dx12.exe in \Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Warhammer Vermintide 2\binaries_dx12
  • EasyAntiCheat.exe in \Program Files (x86)\EasyAntiCheat

also my new or new old log:

Hm okay. I wonder if there’s an issue with the installation after the recent updates. Can you please try a clean reinstallation of Vermintide 2? As this can often resolve more unusual/complex issues.

Please note, that any custom settings, keybinds etc. will be lost. Apologies for the inconvenience!

I will try btw here is another crash with dx11 and 6 workerthreads:

It appears to be the same crash and error each time, regardless of changes so far. Please let me know how a clean reinstall works out!

I give it a try in 2 hours

Ok I gave v2 a clean reinstall and it still crashes:
I tried with my grafic settings and then dx 11 and 6 cores too.
I also tried a different map this time (Old_Haunts) and another crash.

(edit) I tested the RAM and there are no problems there either.

Random Bardin player also has crashes, and crashed about 2 min later (He was hosting this time):

I assume that this is due to the update, my system hasn’t changed since yesterday when I was playing with a friend.

It looks like the patch today solved the problem.
Thx for the patch :+1:
