Crash at startup related to bluetooth headphones

Issue Description:
The reason for game crashes at the start were Bluetooth headphones. In the game options, I had specific headphones selected as audio and not default device. When they were turned OFF I couldn’t run the game. I recommend that everyone having a similar problem change the audio options to default device.
Devs, please check this one.

Steps to Reproduce:
Choose specific Bluetooth headphones in options.
Turn them off.
Try to start a game → crash

Platform:
Steam

Could you see if deleting your AppData works to resolve this?:

  1. Press the Windows key + R
  2. Enter %appdata% within the search input and select ‘OK’
  3. Navigate to AppData\Roaming\Fatshark
  4. Delete the ‘Darktide’ directory

You may then need to use the ‘Verify Integrity of Game Files’ option via Steam:

  1. Right-click Darktide in your Steam library sidebar
  2. Select ‘Properties’
  3. Select the ‘Local Files’ tab
  4. Select the ‘Verify Integrity of Game Files’ button
  5. When complete, close and reopen Steam

Deleteing AppData and verifing integrity fixed the problem (for a while) because it set the audio device to Default. Then, I:
1.enter the game and manualy switch the audio device for my audiotechnica headphones:
BLE_ATH-M50XBT Stereo
2. exit game
3. switch off headphones
4. open the game
after an intro there is a crash to desktop with “We aplologize for the inconvenience!”

So this it works exacly the same way it worked before.
-If you have specific bluetooth headphones selected and you try to open game it will crash.
-This one can easly confuse new players and in my opinion should be adressed

Workaround works - you can either make sure your headphones are ON before starting game or you can switch audio device to Default Device although I don’t know how this will affect the sound quality.
