Coolant Rod Mission

First off, there’s also a strong piece of personal preference here. But I dislike the kind of mission where you have to carry stuff. Even if they go perfectly well. In the coolant rod mission, this is upped to eleven.
Not only can you only ever carry one at a time. Depending on the destination the way can be a bit longer. And as opposed to Vermintide, there is never any breathing room between enemy spawns or places where you can avoid the worst. This mission is already long, and then having the end be the most annoying kind of task imaginable and also being more difficult than equivalents before it really made my blood boil and had me uninstall the beta after we failed it on the fourth rod. Just really pisses me off. It’s the worst kind of task imaginable (to me, that is), while also taking away everything that made it barely tolerable in Vermintide.
To give some more constructive feedback at the end: This mission needs some breathers between waves on the last leg. Doesn’t have to be long, just a little something to regroup, use consumables and get a few meters carried if timed well.

I also disliked this mission and actively avoid it now.

you could just keep playing the game and learn more teamwork. that place is one of the worst for getting separated from your team, so it is basically a lesson in staying near your team.

there are probably going to be a lot of more difficult and longer maps when the game comes out, so idk, rage quit or don’t w/e.

The AI director has absolutely no chill compared to vermintide 2, we watched it throw three swarms at a solo player on our team in the short distance he was trying to run and rescue us for a revive.

I don’t mind this mission, but I always leave the carrying to my teammates and play bodyguard instead (as I did in V2). Call me selfish, but I came here to massacre things, not walk slowly while being unable to defend myself.
