Constantly getting stuck in "joining game"

Issue Description:
The game just gets stuck loading “joining game” while i’m just standing there in lobby. I can’t stop the queue, i can’t quit (unless i completely close the game which is what i have to do), and i can’t rejoin the queue since the game think’s i’m still in queue. This has been happening for a while now but it has gotten to the point where it’s literally like every time i join the queue now. There’s like a 10 minute buffer period to joining queue because the game just gets “stuck” trying to load into a game that’s not there.

Sorry to hear this!

I recommend to check your Steam Download Region:

It may also be worth enabling ‘Smart Network Packets’. You can enable ‘Small Network Packets’ within Vermintide 2’s ‘Network’ panel.

Please be aware this option cannot be used in combination with the Player List Plus mod.

if you select, Return to Keep you should load into a new lobby.

unfortunately that’s not an option that’s available to me when this is happening, just the “quit game” button which exits me all the way back to home screen. Still seeing the problem occurs but will continue to try to troubleshoot until something works
