Constant disconnects from host, tried all the things

Hi there, my friends and I decided to give this game a go recently, but I am having constant packet loss, rubber banding, disconnects from my friends game. As soon as I return to my lobby I can immediately rejoin. The internet is working fine otherwise during the disconnect. I am the only one with this problem. I have bypassed my router and hub and am connected directly to the modem, still happening. I have followed all the steps in the FAQ short of switching to a google DNS. Please help! Logs attached.

Does it behave the same way if you host and your friend join you?

You’ve mentioned trying our solutions from the Connectivity Errors FAQ already. Did you try connecting to a mobile data connection and if so, did the issue persist?

If you haven’t tried this yet, and you’re able to, that can help in isolating the issue.

Friends get lag if I host. Any friend hosts and only I get lag. I tried from my mobile hotspot a few minutes ago, got disconnected with that as well.

I did just confirm all 3 of my companions are on ATT, and I’m on Cox. Perhaps that could be related?

Hm, as you got disconnected in the same way using a mobile data connection I’m wondering if it’s a local system issue. Perhaps a running background application is interfering and causing a connectivity issue. Bit of a shot in the dark, but if you try a Selective Startup and disable your background applications is there any improvement?

  1. Press the Windows key
  2. Type ‘msconfig’ and select ‘System Configuration’
  3. On the ‘General’ tab, select ‘Selective Startup’
  4. Deselect ‘Load startup Items’
  5. Reboot your PC

If the issue no longer occurs after having performed the Selective Startup, try re-introducing your programs one-by-one to determine which is causing your issue.
