I was crashing every other game, sometimes every game and noticed it always seemed to happen when my GPU hit around 74-76C. I used MSI Afterburner to set my heat threshold at 72C and since I did that I didn’t crash once in 4 hrs of play. Doesn’t have to be MSI just some program that lets you monitor and control heat. Don’t know if this works for others but definitely worth a shot. Also make sure on the launcher menu settings that your “Worker Threads” isn’t set too high, mine was set to 13 by default when it should’ve been on 8. Good luck
The GPU temp thing doesn’t work I think, I’ve had crashes since the beginning with DLSS performance on and a frame limiter, with an undervolted GPU that does not go past 65°C.
However, there have been reports of high worker threads causing crashes. People with serious issues have been lowering it to 1 and it fixed things.
Other possibility, Nvidia might have done another Oopsie with their drivers. They might release another version with improvements for Darktide the day before release, on the 29th. That’s usually when they publish their best Game Ready drivers, right before official release.
