Connectivity change VPN

Very strange change noticed.

For the past few years if I connected to a game in Vermintide 2 it would time out. I could never get to the bottom of it but I found if I connected through a VPN I could connect as normal.

Update today: when I connect through VPN I always time out but connect as normal if I don’t use a VPN.

Whatever you did please don’t change it as it is annoying to require a VPN all the time!

Well it’s been great having not to use a VPN. Hopefully you wont need to roll it back!
