We saw some comments and we wanted to address a couple errors in the images for the latest Commodore’s Vestures rotation. The Helbore Lasgun was incorrectly shown with a sight and flashlight. This was due to an error when putting together the art. The model is correct when purchased by players.
Similarly, due to an error on the Level Editor when putting together the art, the magazine on the Recon Lasgun did not appear in the right place.
We’ve amended the images to properly reflect what players will receive in-game.
Translation - “We accidentally made the helbore look really cool and with a kickazz holo scope that would make the gun frikin cool to use. Instead of actually putting that into the game, you can pissoff and we will hide the photo evidence of their existence from you FOREVER so we dont have to work so hard”
If the team is adamant about denying a proper holo sight to the helbore, could you at least use the far superior iron sights of the brown variant (formerly Mk III don’t care for the new designation) instead of the atrocious sights of the the green and blue variants?
To be completely honest, I didn’t care at all about the helbore with a sight thing since I expected this to happen as soon as I saw the image. What I do care about is the contents of the current costmetic rotation and the price for these costmetics. Very simply, most of the items in this rotation are complete and utter garbage. I mean, really!? F*cking drumstick bones strapped to the weapons? Does Fatshark really think that I want to see chicken bones on my weapon? And then for these sopping chunks of sewage to have prices like this is insulting. You put zero effort into this, price it highly, and then expect me to buy it?
Oh, and trying to hawk WEAPON SKINS for 5 bucks a pop is insane (even the bundle price is nuts for just weapon skins that look like they were modeled and churned out in half an hour).
Unless y’all do something about your cosmetic quality AND pricing point there’s gonna be a significant amount of folks who won’t buy even if you DO open up the entire cosmetic shop instead of arbitrarily limiting it…
at this point, I’d even be willing to pay 2000 Aquilas if they would just sell me a Helbore Lasgun with a holo sight and flashlight. that holo sight is already on the infantry lasgun, so it shouldn’t be hard to implement, right?
First of I just wanna say that basically the entire Darktide community really appreciates what you’re doing StrawHat but this release really hit a new low for the mtx shop.
I’m a total sucker for black weapon skins and for skulls and bones too and contrary to popular believe around here I do not think that the bones are out of place - this is 40K afterall - BUT you’re charging the premium price for weapon skin bundles now? With skins that very clearly are just recolors with some bones added here and there and look like they would have been rewards for an Geheimnisnacht Event in Vermintide 2? And then they don’t even include all of the weapons? What is going on?
And to top it all of somebody decided that the rest of the spaces in the shop should be mostly filled with… the option to buy the skins separately… which already is an option in the bundle itself… why? That’s a first and a very dumb decision from the business point of view. You decided to have limited spaces in the shop and then you go and fill them with the same things twice?
