We wanted to let you know that we’ve hit a snag with the latest Commodore’s Vesture update and there will be a delay before it is live. It’s looking like the update will come tomorrow during the day, and we’ll update you if there is any change there.
I hear you, I agree it would’ve been better if it was sent sooner. We were sorting out a couple possible paths to move forward and we didn’t want to announce something before we had the final answer.
Oh lordy no, the Commodores Vestures update is delayed.
I’m sure the tiny number of people still playing at the moment will be just heartbroken that the ridiculously low quality cosmetics are delayed.
Why not take this opportunity to just throw out whatever rubbish you were going to spew into the “premium” store, and instead get some passionate artists to make decent ones for once.
I love how we get a communication about the premium cosmetic shop rotation - but nothing further on the actual content and gameplay (i.e. crafting) changes we’re all waiting for.
To me, this translates as “We don’t entirely know yet how the itemization update is gonna go down, but I’m sure we’ll have at least something to say in the two weeks we have left. Promise!”
I think announcing the possible ways you could approach this and getting mass community input would be great. Any suggestions for tweaks or reworks would make the update all the more better. Hell, do it for every update. Let the people do the theorycrafting for you.
Does this mean that now - eleven days before the drop - you have not decided how the new itemisation should work or that you have not decided how you want to promote it?
This is a important distinction and I‘d really appreciate you to clarify.
And to be clear - a „wrong“ answer would still be much better than no answer.
This post appears to be an update solely on the hotfix for the shop rotation, and a direct response to the community begging for this important news to be shared here in the forums.
I guess this is a good point, I appreciate FS putting this on the forums. And I hope that even if it generates some negative responses due to “outstanding issues” that they continue to do it in the future.
