Hi, I’m not sure if this is the right place to post, but I’m wondering about the commodore shop rotation. I’m an Xbox player so I’m relatively new, but when will we get the Steel Legion original outfit in the shop? I don’t think we’ve had it yet on Xbox, do any pc players have any idea when it might come back in the shop? I like the alternative one we got a month ago, but I love the original outfit. Is it due for a return to the rotation soon?

if we had a schedule for when the skins would be up on the shop, the FatShark executives couldn’t profit from FOMO
It would be so easy for them to post a schedule and just let people plan on how to spend their money. But unfortunately, can’t tell you when the Steel Legion premium cosmetics are coming back.

It’s kinda weird though because I don’t have any fear of missing out on premium cosmetics I don’t like, I know which ones I want but I can’t give them money for it haha.
That’s fair, thanks for answering my question, has it been out of the shop rotation for a while now though? My logic is that if it’s been out of rotation for ages, it might have higher chances of coming back sooner.
Oh Darktide has become one of my all time favourite games, I’m a L4D vet so I love the style and pace of the game, and I love the world of 40k and its aesthetics so it’s the perfect mix for me

I feel your pain bro. Before the vanguard pack came out I was desperate for a specific set for Ogryn. I would say, you’re probably right. It stands to reason the longer things have been away the sooner they’ll come back. Plus us Xbox guys haven’t had a chance to see them yet, so I’m sure they’ll be back around soon. Well, FS soon lol.

it’s semi-randomised. there’s some sort of automation behind it, but fatshark keeps fiddling with it and adding stuff so we don’t know.

I think the premium shop is only automated during periods of no activity. Basically they add new things or add new premium skins during events or content drops where new or returning players would be more likely to play and spend money.
It could be fully operated by someone. We don’t really know. They will probably never tell us.
It’s important to note that older cosmetic sets have either never returned, or returned with the weapon skins and weapon trinkets removed from the bundle without the price being reduced. The bundle has also been subsequently altered to remove these weapon skins from the marketing image in the shop—a behavior that seems really malignant in nature.
Fatshark responded to this particular allegation with vague language, saying they ‘acknowledged’ the ‘issue’ and will ‘investigate it.’
At release we had 800 aquilas outfits that didn’t come with helmets, but we have not seen them since.
Bundles have only gotten more expensive and have had less content in them.
Quality control is still nonexistent and most fixes to premium cosmetics arrive months later, if at all.
Even for their Krieg sets that have had ‘extra development time’ when everyone knows the DKOK are extremely popular. The shovel skins were way too on the nose for that one.

considering the amount of times they’ll change the limited amount of slots to have duplicates of something on another page, I would really hope its automated. It certainly isn’t helping them make money, and really wastes its functions even more than taking away the 4th store page (why not just add more at this point). there needs to be a balance of what console players haven’t gotten to acquire and what PC players have seen tons of times before, like I’m pretty sure the Steel Legion set was in one of the Veteran pages when they stopped updating the store for however many months that was…everyone who wanted it on PC has it, and they’re just going to rob it when they re-list it like they have the other sets that are conspicuously now missing weapon skins and trinkets like they had before, but like 300 aquillas are taken off.

Why fatshark don’t just use their license to print money and put in a wee bit of effort into actually making things to sell for the most played class and actually capitalise on the setting they’re working with
