Quick Update on Latest Rotation

I don’t understand what’s so hard about composing a message and copy pasting it 3 times.

It should not be this complicated to get information to be posted here. They definitely do not deserve any form of praise for this. This entire situation existing in the first place is insane.

What the hell is going on at fatshark

The cosmetic store is called the Commodore’s Vesture which is what was specifically mentioned.

Praise? No. But it is a positive change (even if it should be the bare minimum) and something I hope continues in the future.

It does remind me of this however lol.

I know, I was asking about his response to someone else’s question.

Pretty much this.

Fatshark can do the bare minimum, but that’s not worthy of praise. That’s just going to earn them the absence of scorn, and further questions about the other aspects they’re not meeting the bare minimum on.

If they want the community to be happy they need to put in the effort. And that effort is not materializing.

Kinda hope he gets a nice one.
Without him (and the rest of the dev team ofc) I wouldn’t have one of my favorit gaming franchises.
The companies does good but he still seems like a modest guy.
No Mc-Mansion no flashy car just a normal swedish dude living lagom.

I hope he can barely afford a Yugo myself.

Hi man. I don’t wanna be a jerk, but I am genuinely curious. When are those devblogs gonna hit? It’s a pretty short time until the 25th.

What you can be sure of is that whenever the dev blogs hit, they will hit close enough to the actual release of the patch that there will be no room for being responsive to community feedback or receptivity. This is 100% how it goes down every time.

More cynically, if they play their cards right, they word the dev blogs to make things sound more exciting and in line with community expectations when in reality the changes don’t live up to the hype. This is the true path for building community support and goodwill that Fatshark likes to follow.

I can’t even honestly close with a “/s” even though I want to.

Don’t worry it’s made with the community testing team!

You know the one that brought us patch 13 “Picked apart Vet” (but it’s balanced, see? Use raking fire!), Railgun voidstrike, totally balanced Assail, Rumbler spam, and the current “Thundershovel”!

remember that they too give feedback that apparently goes no where. We well and truly are rudderless with the combat lead gone.

AKA exactly what they did with ‘Path of Redemption’ where they dropped ‘player agency’ as a buzzword for penances we…couldn’t choose rewards for.

I forgot how great those guys are at giving balance feedback. They never say yes to FS and always push the community ideas!

This is probably true, but I’m quite sure they have a big responsibility in many of the negatives of current balance state. Thunder shovel is a prime example.

I’m unsure that they presence does more good or damage. I’m leaning on more damage.

Apparently thundershovel is the result of Ogryn’s tree being busted af - basically in order to make it tolerable for gunlugger, it becomes obscenely OP on the heavy attack spam builds.

Yep and they known that, and still pushed it so it would be good on gunlugger, not really caring about how busted it gets on the melee side.

I think the ammo change is the opposite of that. They basically given 0 sh-ts that nerfing the ammo aura would pretty much dumbster many of the Vet’s already mediocre gun builds and make them an even more miserable experience to play. This is just a speculation on my part tho, I just can’t believe this change went through with player testing otherwise.

I assume you can thank hank for that. Judging by his posts any weapon that can not be used by a gunlugger to one/twotap a crusher isn’t useful.

I guess some people enjoy having their cake and eating it too.

Exactly. I reckon they’ll be in here repeating the usual “FS doesn’t do exactly what we say and we really really really did want something else akshually. They do their own thing we just give feedback.”

Sure, my good Yes-men. Sure.

Don’t you get it? They provide valuable playtesting and feedback that has changed things for the better, but simultaneously FS never listens to them so they can never be held accountable for any of the feedback they have given.

If a tree falls in the forest, and no one is around to see it, can you still smell the BS?

They’re shroedingers yes-men.

As long as you don’t actually observe them objecting to or agreeing with Fatshark, they’re in a state of both. So they can never be wrong or at fault. Truly wonderous.

this was my joke but literally spoon fed. Apparently none of what they say impacts what they do. When they describe their own bad rationale, well that wasn’t their doing either.
