Chaos Warrior Punch

Actually you need to kill very very little in this game. Speedrunners show how little you actually NEED to kill all the time. There are very very few places in the game where you cannot back track or push forwards to get better terrain to take a fight if needed. If you have to even take the fight at all.

The only time you NEED to kill them ASAP would be in super specific situations where they basically jumped right on top of you or you have no way to take the fight in a more open area (which be rare in and of itself). And in that case the sound que for them was bugged, they spawned too close because of a bug, or you prolly made a mistake. Outside of all that, I’d agree with you. But we are talking about a % of a % of a % of the time at that point.

They’re supposed to be dangerous. You’ll just have to space out your strikes with a little block canceling

I think the bosses should get their punch (and speed) back. Still, people could easily fail at the end of a mission, especially if first time, and potentially get frustrated, so perhaps its damage should be reduced

Usually don’t get punched anymore, still think it’s too random because of the lack of telegraphy and windup considerung how potentially devastating it is.

solution: never do melee combat as much as you can (as everyone do in champion and legenardy mode) XDDDDD

I agree this is part of the reason making the melee player very dissapointing/angry too. vermintide supposed to be a Melee+ range coop game, but what happening here now is AVOID ALL melee as much as possible because too much bullshit like this and melee kills WAY too slow than range attack. on top of that there are friendly fire ffs.

this. the chaos warrior is meant to be a fearsome melee opponent. if you guys insist on staying right next to him all the time, yet complain about the quick punch, that’s just bad play.

learn to adapt (like in everything else in the game), strike from maximum melee range and move out. the posts about ‘not always having the option’ well that’s more of mistakes or if an entire patrol is chasing you, which is already a mistake in itself.

you might as well similarly argue about the shield stormvermin instant pushes.
