Certain swing of melee light attack getting cancel while sprinting

While players are sprinting if they try to chain through light attacks combo while sprinting at the same time. a specific swing will get cancel and the game will play the sound of charging heavy attack.

This pretty much happens to almost every melee weapons in the game.
I’ve made a list all the combo that bug out for you guys to easier track down issue here.

its also worth noting that Force Sword Mk IV, the bug only occurs sometimes maybe its worth looking into that first.

Steps to Reproduce (Required):

  1. pick a weapon I listed above
  2. hold down sprint key and start sprinting
  3. try to light swing your melee through the combo one at a time
  4. some certain light attack swing will get cancel. and the game will play heavy charging sound.

great post very detailed thank you.
This has annoyed me a lot with ironhelm losing thrust stacks to go from H2 to the sprinting attack hurts.
also worth mentioning is that sprinting during some heavy attacks will also have the same problem

@FatsharkJulia @FatsharkStrawHat more way to reproduce it.

pressing sprint while doing heavy will reset the combo and do light instead if I release the mouse immediately, this only occurs when the combo got to the sequence I listed above. I think its causing by the same bug.

this is very major bug I hope this get fixed soon.
