Can't start: MIssing executables (Versus Alpha)

[PC] Crash Report (Optional):

  • I execute Vermintide 2 Versus from Steam.
  • Versus window opens.
  • I place my mouse pointer over the “Play” button, a message appears “Can’t start: MIssing executables”.
  • I click on it, and nothing happens.

I have verified the files 2 times:

  • 1st time it said something like “missing files, files are going to be downloaded”.
  • 2nd time it said all files have been verified correctly.

I restarted steam and tried to execute it.

It doesn’t work.

I am using Windows 10.

I am having the same issue as well!

I think you have to re-install it, says it 37gb now.

We put the Versus build live shortly ago - please download this (as above, should be around 37GB). Please let me know if you experience any issues after doing so.

It is downloading now, 37GB.

After it downloads, I will try it again.
