Now make that speed baseline and make mobility instead give sprint efficiency.
Make sprint reduce half of the movement penalty of suppression, completely for the ogryn. All of a sudden we’ve now got a usable tool that can help the melee orientated classes deal with the abundance of ranged enemies at higher difficulties.

I don’t need to provide you with anything. I don’t care what you think.
Your inability to figure out how to use Sprint, Dodge, Slide, and Push to disengage and maneuver in melee combat is a strictly you thing and not a Darktide thing. This is why Fatshark made the first 2 difficulties, you don’t really need to know how to do much but shoot and swing. Stick with it buddy, with practice you’ll figure it out eventually.

You can make up anything you want. It doesn’t change the fact that you need to improve on your ability to use Dodge, Push, Slide, and Sprint to out maneuver the enemies in melee combat. Would you like some help in game on how to do this?

If you know you are trying to sprint away from a skating mob attacking you… just turn around and push him ones, thats what i do. Works everytime.
Scenario: "Oh crap i need to sprint away from this horde! remembers that i always get interupted and hit in the back when i do
Turns around 180 and do a good old push, then start sprinting again, works 100% of the time.
It’s not a problem when they haven’t started shooting because they weren’t triggered yet. Or when they are stunned or staggered with Zealot grenades, Psyker Lightning or knocked down by other means. Or when you are flanking them. Those few seconds of an advantage may be crucial and thats enough. Suicide charge at reinforced enemy positions won’t work obviously.
There is one way to outpace the hoard. Sprint, and spam (and hold) the heavy attack of the veteran’s combat knife. it has a lunge component for letting you approach ranged enemies at mach speed, and is because of this, much faster than sprinting.
None of this is real. You are quite literally making up words and putting them in quotes to use for your own ends. I am not here to defend a viewpoint or provide you with “proof” about anything. Your opinion about this game is your opinion and that is it. The rest of your words are just made up mumble jumbo about providing you with lists and proof of things I don’t even care about.
I enjoy the game, I am good at the game and I don’t need permission or lists or proof to do so. You know we can all see your post history right? The posts of you calling people names and generally being a combative and nasty person? Yeah those are public.
So what I’m hearing is that you don’t have anything to say, you just replied to me, contradicted my statements for no other reason than you ‘felt’ like I was wrong. It is fine that you like the game. Your first reply was, “This isn’t a problem,” and upon receiving replies that disagreed with you, every subsequent post could be summed up as, “You’re wrong, I’m right, get gud”, and NOW you’re upsetti spaghetti because I’m treating you like the condescending, self-aggrandizing tool you’ve worked so hard to prove you are and am holding you to the things you’ve said.

Your FIRST WORDS in the thread were you telling OP that he shouldn’t even want the change he’s suggesting, even though, very clearly, many other people agree with him. You ignored the point of the thread, which is pointing out “Hey this doesn’t work the way I’d like and was wondering if it could be changed,” and jumped right to, “You’re wrong for wanting this in the first place.”
