Cannot complete prologue on Steam

**I cannot make it past the prologue on Steam, although Game Pass and the Beta (on Steam) have run fine. Particularly, it is the second room you fight enemies in after acquiring a firearm for the first time. I have tried verifying files, reinstalling, updating drivers, adjusting all graphics to their lowest settings and making a new character all with similar results **

Steps to Reproduce:

  1. Launch game
  2. Create a new character or chose an existing one (that has not yet completed prologue)
  3. Enter prologue
  4. After saving sergeant and acquiring gun, clear first room.
  5. In second room, note at seemingly random points the game freezes, then closes without an error code

You’re running into a Deadlock type crash, which we’re unable to determine the cause of from the crash data alone.

Please ensure you have the latest Windows updates installed.

A developer was able to take a deeper look at this, and has suggested if you can try installing Darktide on another disk? as this may be due to faulty sectors. It’s an odd crash, and something that appears to have no reason that it should reoccur after reinstalling.
