I don’t know who even asked for this. Everything from Groaners to Crushers now skates up to you from 50 feet away, tracks you into your dodge-slide, and hits you no matter the distance, regardless of even vertical differences! I just had a crusher kill me with an overhead that tracked me through dodging backward off of a balcony. I was on the floor under him and the hit landed.
Everyone has been talking about the shooters with this update, but no one seems to mention the fact that Fatshark ruined the once amazing feel of melee combat in this game. It’s so frustrating to me I’m either going to start playing ranged-focused builds for the first time in 1,200 hours or just drop the game. It’s like they changed the melee combat system completely, from how enemies engage with you to how hits are registered. If this is how melee combat felt when this game launched, I would’ve refunded it.
