Forums have become day care for emotional disturbed people. Sadly. Block/Ignore is your friend.
Unfortunately it’s human nature. And people tend to be too “tribal”. They want to identify with groups as part of their identity which makes them inflexible in their ideology. To create “us” and “them” groups. It’s disadvantageous to, for example, identify as “left” or “right” politically. It may seem convenient to get all your ideologies from the same basket and to feel confident in that some other group of people to back you up, but rarely are people that simplistic and similar. Given the time to assess each individual topic, things are a lot more nuanced and people can have complicated beliefs on things that don’t fit neatly into any one label or ideology. And things rarely are static and changes in policy can quickly require a change in ideological labels.
The human brain also doesn’t work well online. It doesn’t create the empathy and mirror neural processes that are usually required for caring to create cohesive social networks (see the Kurzgesagt video).
And, again, people are too prideful. Often a lot of arguments are merely defending their pride and ego as things get quickly personal at some point in a disagreement… despite it being a fallacy (unless the original topic was about them personally). I just embrace Metaphysical Existence Monism, there’s no self to defend in the blobject.

everything is fine, we don’t get upset. often we can even learn things from a heated discussion.
im about to get uncivil with that 1 day ban in fatshark jail. but in all seriousness it got a little spicy, so what, who cares? im not apologizing for being correct on that topic. didnt swear at anybody or use anything discriminatory or racial it was a small argument. i may have gotten a little excited, okay, fine its in my nature… i didnt think that literally banning people for a day or two was the correct answer personally shutting it down is more like it when things get really heated. there were people i know in there that got banned for a day for 0 reasons, 0 reasons and did nothing at all but comment. another abuse of mod powers again. some people shouldnt be mods on this forum. i think you know who im talking about. idgaf if i get perma-banned because of this statement.

It was really nothing bad at all, super tame if anything. Just an opinion & disagreement over the way things run around here or in the other post where he was just arguing not saying anything offensive at all in my eyes. I cannot type it because I’ll be silenced as well most likely. Let’s just say certain people are really having it in for him & he’s proving himself right by them banning him for a day or taking down his posts, etc. Some people do deserve the ban for a day, I get that, no question or doubt in my mind. But this was uncalled for & an abuse of power, IMO. Just because it’s “him.”

I’ve done worse and only gotten a temporary removal of a post.
Some guy ruined a thread by consistently bringing in politics into it he gets nothing done to him and the threat gets locked.

Exactly… People have said way worse stuff with nothing. Tanner literally had an argument & a ban. I’m reading back on the posts. It got a little spicy, but nowhere near ban level at all… This is blatantly an abuse of power, no question. When’s the last time certain people banned them for a day? I cannot even remember. I guess only if you have that celebrity status lol. Or just hated by certain people. Wink, wink.

Go for it buddy… If it makes you feel like a big man. There’s really not any doubt in my mind why people do not like you. Lots of people have sock accounts don’t act like this is something new, I’m so very shocked. Some people didn’t deserve to be banned for a day or so… Just because of a little argument, boo-hoo, that’s life. I think somebody just doesn’t like a certain somebody. Wink, wink.
