Can we mayhaps get proper heavy strikedown properties on the punch, so it’s not a GIANT WASTE OF TIME to use? It does approx half the dmg of your light1, which isn’t even a strikedown, while doing a third vs armor. Downright pathetic.
If we are expected to utilize it in our single target combo, might as well huh? As of now, there is ZERO reason to use it over heavy spam, it does NOT net you any extra DPS. Giving it usable numbers would instantly catapult mk2 into the coolest club to use category.
A lot of special / push attacks feel a bit redundant on many weapons, a bit of a failure of weapon design in my books, it would be great to have another attack option which actually serves more of a purpose.
Both clubs and shovels lag behind pick axes. I don’t want their damage output increased across the board, if anything pick axe damage output is too high. What I’m saying is improve mobility and responsiveness of both clubs and shovels, considering they are one handed weapons.
Making all available attacks actually serve a good purpose would be a cherry on the top. I love the stagger on special attacks, both on MK II club and the OG shovel. Mk II punch after the slap doing respectable damage would be a nice improvement.
are you sure about that? it was about ~1 year ago when the Ogryn Rework happened and everyone was light spamming with 3b clubs, but a good amount of balancing has happened and now the 3b club itself it pretty much outclassed by the Power Maul. Also the best pick imo isnt the Branx its the Karl now, quicker and safer to use, oh and the good ole slab shield, even that is a very strong weapon when used right.
The Paul, picks, shield, and even a mark or two of the cleavers are pretty much Ogryns best weapons at the moment
Ever since Branx lost a buncha onetap breakpoints, Boro has been the best pickaxe, due to it’s flexibility. You can light spam, heavy spam or anywhere in between. Karl lacks dmg on lightspam and has a near useless PA, making its heavy only nature really hard to utilize with a disabler gunning for your arse approx every 5s in today’s havoc.
Club3b has never been the best, rather the easiest to use, and is all but replaced by Paul now. It does lightspam better, while having better heavies (even if no one uses em) and that borderline OP special.
i like this club and don’t specifically feel like it needs buffs but the attacks need diversifying for sure, there’s no reason to do anything but haymaker wide heavy spam on this one, but any changes to it shouldn’t make it stronger than the haymaker wide heavy spam build
i need to always whine about ogryn weapon variety whenever i can, but thats already like 80% of his melee choices. this class needs a thick girthy weapon pack already
