Build for an honest assessment of my skill

If not playing havoc, toughness break period is op. Whenever I play Zealot True Solo I always go 3x hp, because zealot gets literally infinite toughness from dodging.

So, as of now, my total playtime is 747.9 hours. Over the past two weeks — 44.1 hours. I’ve completed 751 missions, including 100 Auric and 85 Havoc. Account Level: 597. Heretics purged: 406,587.

Notable achievements:

  • Complete 15 missions in a row without being downed on Malice Threat (the same campaign mission “Battle for Tertium” on the Magistrati Oubliette map) as Arbites
  • Complete 10 consecutive Auric missions without dying (the same campaign mission “Battle for Tertium” on the Magistrati Oubliette map) as Zealot

And the most recent one, today’s achievement — my 751st mission:
I completed a Havoc Rank 26 mission with Rotten Armour and Blight Spread as Arbites, using a dedicated anti–Rotten Armour build.

I got trapped in a net four times, was downed six times, but was killed only once (thanks to a Wound curio) — and very much at the worst possible moment (simultaneously with another player). The mission was on the brink of failure, and I wasn’t the one who saved it.

However, in the end I placed second overall in total damage, damage to elites, horde damage, monster damage, and specialist damage — basically second across all categories. But in damage taken, number of times netted, and number of knockdowns — I was first.

If anyone knows how to set up the crouch key so that it simply doesn’t activate unless you have enough speed to slide — let me know. I keep ending up crouching instead of sliding with this heavy character, with no stamina curios or perks and a heavy shield.

As for the 50 Auric HISTG missions, I’ll be playing them as Hive Scum with shivs, a needle pistol, and chemical grenades. It’s considered an OP build, but for me personally it doesn’t feel that way. The survivability is much lower compared to Arbites and Zealot, which I usually play, and the damage isn’t exactly outstanding either.

For example, in a fairly tough story mission from the “The Road to No Man’s Land” campaign (the second one on the Vault Spireside-13 map), an Arbites player dealt more damage than I did (and he didn’t even have a dog), while I dealt more damage than the second Hive Scum in the team who was running a similar build.

I don’t know how much better I am than the average player (hopefully I am), or whether I’m actually behind. And I’m not sure how representative my stats will be, but I strongly suspect that my Auric HISTG mission success rate over 50 games will end up well below 70% (the average mission success rate in the game

Slide doesn’t have a minimum speed to trigger, you just need to be in either a sprinting or dodging state. Observe:

I am not experienced with Havoc solo and have no interest in doing it. OP asked for Auric and I think just stacking Toughness works best there. As for HP curios I only use them on Ogryn and tank Arbitrator builds for Havoc, feel like with invincibility on death it’s not really needed if you miss a silent Crusher once in a while.

but im pretty sure there is a minimum speed required to slide, at least if you want to perform an actual slide i guess? in that video youre barely moving forward any, where a normal slide propels you forward kinda you know

kulis guide has it listed as 4.2 meters per second across the classes afaik
