BSOD over Driver Validations

Issue Type (Required):

Crash - During Play

Issue Description (Required):

After downloading the new update, I have been getting consistant BSODs with the DRIVER_VERIFIER_DMA_VIOLATION error. The game will launch fine, and I can play for maybe 5-10 minutes before getting a BSOD. The issue does not appear isolated to Darktide, but has happened consistently when playing after the update, with a 100% crash rate. It has occured in two other games, but in both instances has only occured once, and only AFTER the update came out.

Like the other BSOD report here on the forums here, I’ve clean installed my Drivers, verified the game files, and have done a file check for corrupted files. My PC does meet the min requirements, as I have just south of 600 hours in Darktide.

Specs -
CPU: 12th Gen Intel(R) Core™ i9-12900K 3.20 GHz
Video Card: NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3080 Ti

I was not experiencing this issue until after installing the update, even with those other games. At this point, I’m just not sure what to do.

There will be an underlying reason for this, and Darktide is merely highlighting an existing instability due to its demanding nature. I recommend saving the corresponding Windows Event Viewer logs and sharing them with Microsoft Support. You can also contact them via the ‘Get Help’ app:
