Broken cutscenes and full-system freeze

On first startup and every start since, I get this error,

After clicking OK, the splashscreen and opening cutscene, and title screen, have looked like this

I’m running lowest graphics settings on everything, and am using a Nvidia GeForce GTX 750.

After pressing space on the title screen, some seconds later, my entire computer becomes unresponsive, and I am forced to manually shut down. I happened to be in discord chat at the time and call mates confirmed that discord had not even registered when I manually shut off my PC. Can successfully close the application with the button or alt+F4 at any point before pressing space at the title screen without incident.

the Fatshark folder in appdata shows no crash report.

The only error that comes up is the one shown above.

Steps to Reproduce:

  1. Start launcher and click play
  2. Press space at title screen
  3. Freeze

Upload darktide_launcher.log:

  1. Press the Windows key + R
  2. Enter %appdata% within the search input and select ‘OK’
  3. Navigate to AppData\Roaming\Fatshark\Darktide
  4. Locate the darktide_launcher.log in this directory
  5. Upload here

Unfortunately, your PC does not meet the minimum requirements for Darktide. I can only recommend requesting a refund via the Steam client.
