Bosses ignoring stealth + hitting through block mechanics

The number of times a boss aggros onto me when I use huntsman active (before even taking the first shot to break stealth) only to knock me into a corner and then spam (up to 5 times on what used to be my corpse) his ignore block attack is absurd. Also, why is this attack animation spamable, yes its easy to dodge but 180 rogre spins inside of a horde only to tripple spam this in a tight circle is just plain stupid.

I agree, it is most noticable on HS and RV stealth, Shade and HM not so much, but it still happens. And I am not talking about the “boss hasn’t finished its attack chain” thing, I am too talking about the boss literally turning, facing you and running after you.

I guess stealth mechanics need a lot more work.
Getting slammed into a corner is your own doing.

it was hunger in the dark, the whole map is a corner and I was fighting a wave, stealth out and then the boss pulls to me, how is that my fault? I hadn’t even damaged him yet and was invisible?

been getting it a lot on trolls and stormfiends as shade, stealth > 2-3 seconds roaming around to get a good shot on the back and set myself up for some backstabs > 4-5th second stormfiend just turns to me and goes HAVE SOME GREEN FIRE or the troll targets me with an overhead. In neither of these situations was there any allies behind me that could’ve triggered this, and especially with the punishing nature on both of these attacks (cmon that fire dot ticks like 70% of your non-curse afflicted HP.) it makes for very frustrating moments where you feel like the game is taking supposed control away and just sticks a finger in your direction.

certain tools are there to help you manage oh sh*t situations, when they don’t function properly its frustrating, anything that was calculated and should have worked in theory that fails due to game mechanics acting unusual is disgruntling.

Stealth definitely needs some work! I have had this happen to me quite a bit. With Shade I now hold block while going into stealh and hold it until the last second before charged back stab.

I don’t mid if they continue the attack animation (ogre, spawn, berserkers), they should loose track of you but attack your last seen location and continue in the direction you moved when going invisible.

Any way the stealth ults are quite unreliable making boss fights for the shade actually quite dangerous despite being invisible 90% of the time.

Note shade haters my suggestion won’t make boss fight’s a cake walk but more reliable as the boss still target’s your last seen location+ and you still fall victim to 180° attacks.
