Bloodshot is a highly useful skill for the Waystalker. After killing enemies with melee attacks, Kerillian is supposed to shoot an additional arrow when performing a ranged attack within 10 seconds.
Previously, when combined with “Loaded Bow” or “Kurnous Reward,” it had a ×2 effect. Regarding the statement “reimplemented ‘Bloodshot’ affecting True Volley properly increasing the amount of arrows shot by 1,” I believe it should maintain the previous ×2 effect rather than just adding 1 arrow. However, unfortunately, “Piercing Shot” doesn’t work at all. It fails to grant the extra arrow, which is unfair. “Piercing Shot” has become the least valuable skill in CO-OP.
Additionally, there are too many useless talent combinations in Vermintide 2, causing most players to use the same talents.
On a side note, it was previously mentioned that the Moonfire Bow needs to be reworked. It has now become one of the worst weapons in the game. It lacks explosive damage, and even the game effects are poorly done. It’s just a light blue line with nothing else.
It was just too overpowered, no way to reasonably keep it without drastically cutting damage or upping cooldown.
As for piercing, i do actually agree that it is a bit of a shame that it doesnt benefit from bloodshot, i honestly doubt it would have been crazy even if it did. I also find it to be a shame that they removed the synergy with conservative shooter from trueflight, it used to actually refund a bit of ammo even without kurnous just based on headshots but that was taken out.
That used to make loaded bow a viable option to run with longbow if nothing else.
x2 would be overpowered, but piercing shot should get +1 arrow. Especially because of the heavy investment to kill chaos warrior on cata with it. To oneshot headshot them with piercing shot you will need enhanced power + 10% power vs armoured and + 10 power vs chaos on charm. With bloodshot on piercing shot it would reward you for performing around your talents nicely and if you can perform it well enough you wont need the chaos warrior breakpoints on charm and you can go for 1SHS monks breakpoint on javelin instead.
