Just to share between us what are the best weapons for ogryn and perks blessings ?
As is, I would go with
knife MKIII : perks flak and maniacs
Blessings :
Confident strike
Savage sweep
Grenadier gauntlet : perks carapace and flak
Blessings :
Glory hunter
Shattering impact
Thoughts ?
Power Maul with Confident Strike, rest not really important. You are walking CC machine with decent damage output.
Bull Butcher Mk lll Cleaver with Confident strike or Momentum (one of those) and Slaughter if you just want to cleave through hordes and cry on the inside any time armoured elites show up.
Thumper + Ripper Mk II. Perks? Flak and Maniac/Unyielding I suppose. Blessings? You don’t need them…because most are total trash. Rend maybe? I will let you know when I get any decent ones. Ah yes Inspiring Barrage and Terrifying Barrage
Tbh knife with a lacerate blessing and really anything else.
+flak, +whatever else gives you trouble with Zealot.
Having it set up this way means if you are ahead and slash up a larger enemy they often bleed out before they can hit you team and you end up stacking crits due to your class perk which kills things quick, causes even more bleed, and ends up making a feedback loop which makes hordes and specials alike a breeze.
In addition you can get you F back faster at 30 with the reduced time on crit.
Show stopper + the blessing that makes it so you can still pushback enemies on fire with the flamer make for a fairly useful combo. It’s only a % chance in kill but when it does go off and kill like 4 or 5 shotgunners at once it’s fairly satisfying. The pushback is also super useful for hounds. Having plus reload and damage vs Flak is helpful since most things are flak armoured so it covers a fair number of bases in general
I’ll let you know when I’m allowed to reroll blessings/perks to try them out.
The Alt+F4 is the best blessing/perk until they actually put some content into the game.
Skullcrusher to go with it. Always Skullcrusher.
t.axe with +crit, brutal momentum and some kind of buff blessing. hybrid between the meta knife and meta axe build which provides the best of both.
