Ya; I got the Review Divers joke from Asmongold. I just wanted to expand on it and make it a bit as seen in the cinematic intro. Regardless of whether or not Arrowhead told people to do this, this still hurts Arrowhead if people are pushing their refunds as they are. I saw one guy had 97 play hours, got a refund for retroactively creating legal agreements that the user was not part of. Wanted out. Refund granted. Unless, that money comes from steam? Not the studio?

it is exactly refunded as it is paid,
aka, the 30% cut steam takes comes from steam
and the 70% the dev received comes from his pocket.
PS: i couldn’t care less anymore if a dev gets hurt, if a innocent studio get thrown under the bus once in a while, so be it,
the gaming landscape became so awful in the last 10 years that you hear of undefendable greed and anti consumer practices constantly and not only from the AAA giants we came to expect that from, but even AA on average jumped on the bandwagon and siphon off capital in larger and larger quantities, EVEN small indie dev companies do it more and more…
I’m no longer naively trying to support anyone, my loyalty is resevered for people I know well enough or personally.

I’ve seen countless examples where loyalty of gamers were exploited
and the number of times devs honored the support of their player base TRULY and timelessly is few enough to count on your fingers.
the math says it ain’t worth contemplating, cut off anyone that treats you with disdain and move on, doesn’t matter if they did so willingly, unknowingly or without choice…

Well, at least a move has been made. Steam removes the listing from their storefront on the countries impacted and may keep giving refunds to people in those countries. Probably from steam rather than Sony but this undoubtedly will impact their bottom line.

There will small fraction of people whom bought steam key separately from another website i.e. Greenmangaming is legit. So won’t be able to refund.
