Beastmen hordes currently can spawn entirely too close to you (within what would be considered Skaven ambush distance), except essentially the whole wave will spawn at once - and silently (see my other bug report). The only requirement for their spawning seems to be “not in line of sight of characters” (and even then, this is not always true). It’s not uncommon to see them spawn within 10 feet of your character.
