Beastmen tend to hit players without any animation displaying, often while staggered or knocked down, or even after being killed recently.
If you are able to grab any footage of this it would be super useful (same for anyone else who experiences this and might be reading!)
I can anecdotaly confirm this. Though is it working as intended or spears hidden by front line mobs or some other jank is hard to tell.
