Had a Round where i was eaten by a Beast. After he walked by a Demonhost and triggered it while i was inside.
iMHO this should not happen at all!
Demonhost attacked me inside the Beast and killed me…
Game functioning as intended, enemies wombo comboing players is terribly frustrating but the only thing that tends to down me… usually trapper / mutant into any fire.
The Mutant is arguably more embarrassing and he pummels you while your burning tho luckily sometimes throws.
Nurgle eating player then throwing up over ledge was the funniest moment in game… when it doesn’t happen to you. Notiable mentions Plague Ogryn kick offs and disablers in fire… tho a clutch flamer has saved me and run from dog pin several times.
That one at least makes sense, since youre still exposed to the outside world. Being completely covered by a beast should not let you also take damage from outside damage sources. Your punishment for getting eaten should be the 3/4ths of your health bar worth of corruption. Having a flamer, burster, bomber, or other boss continue targeting you and end up killing you while not affecting the beast itself is just silly.
I think that’s a fair trade would be hilarious seeing enemies attack a boss to get to player dealing most their damage to boss.
Its equally great when one friendly fires another had a reaper help me out with a gunner who was about to open up on me then i smashed them both with my sword.
I 100% agree, its the single worst mechanic Fatshark has ever added. Taking prolonged control away from the player is one of the worst things you can do via game design, its literally the first thing you learn in ‘intro to games’ if you go to college for game design. And yet Fatshark has made one of the most egregious displays of breaking that rule ever by making that boss
The beast of nurgle is the most anti fun boss ive ever seen in a game. it should be removed and replaced with a boss that is actually interesting and doesnt just stop you from playing the game for a full minute+
