Pysker dome is another level of annoying because the dome was a problem, having a dome every 15 seconds with a cooldown build is crazy.

Man I hope fatshark doesn’t cave in to these people’s demands. This is a good step for balance and i am sure eventually people will find a new meta to use but first they gotta get over the separation phase.

if that experience is solely based on overperforming outliers and talents that replace actual player actions, I’d say this experience is null and void and shouldn’t be there in the first place if balancing was being curated regularly.

people got used and comfortable in certain characters power creep and deem it “normal” and necessary to enjoy the game.

Yeah it only allows for 24%+ toughness per second with some of the highest tdr amounts in the entire game and also has tons of ranged damage buffs that make every weapon quite strong, thats simply just not enough we need to powercreep it more

While i disagree that the dome was an absolute necessity, the dome wasnt exactly an outlier or over centralized, the dome nerfs are a very big overreach. the dome being 60 seconds is extremely long, and not comparable to the actual strength and utility it provides. the shield does not have the same worth as zelots chorus of spiritual fortitude that has the same cooldown time (not accounting for cdr of zelot or psyker).

Also fatshark did not nerf shield to harm player experience, this is most likely a case of spread sheet balancing, as most new psyker players relied on it due to the classes squishy nature, but on higher levels it isnt as impactful as psykers other 2 abilities. the only thing this nerf does is hurt newer players, and make a once usable ability not worth the point investment
